Elected as a Senator for South Australia in 2022, Senator Kerrynne Liddle was promoted to the Shadow Ministry within a year. Following the 2025 Federal Election, Senator Liddle was elevated to Shadow Cabinet, serving as both Shadow Minister for Social Services and Shadow Minister for Indigenous Australians.
Before politics, Senator Liddle worked in senior management roles in the tourism, energy, media and arts industries and held governance roles on the Council of the University of SA, University of Adelaide, Indigenous Business Australia and the SA Housing Trust.
The Senator has a Bachelor of Arts in Management, Master of Business Administration, completed a Vincent Fairfax Foundation Ethics Fellowship and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
